How will Matt use Web 2.0 in Teaching and Learning?
Web 2.0 offers a range of applications suitable for the classroom, which will help make the learning experience more interactive and enjoyable for all students. On this wiki page, I have reviewed a few Web 2.0 tools which could be used in the classroom.
Animoto

I think Animoto provides something new for students. It allows students to upload pictures (which can include text to help enhance the video). Music and other audio, such as voices, can be added to accompany the pictures and text. The transitions enhance the way the pictures are presented.
I would use this in education in two ways:
* I could create a video to present new information to the class or;
* The students could create videos based on their research.
